Elsa Nature Conservancy

Elsa Nature Conservancy was founded in 1976. Our mission is to protect nature and the environment, from the sky to the ground.

We catch blind points of the nature protection movement which the public does not recognize. For example, we make an appeal to protect Kojyurin (a type of wild bird) which is going extinct unseen.

Moreover, we have been working on the protection of dolphins and elephants before the media paid attention to them. We are against animal vivisection and the condition of Safari parks, zoos and aquariums have been also the object of our criticism.

We use only recycled paper for our newsletters and internal memos in order to help prevent deforestation.

Our basic policy is "Each person does what he/she can do to protect nature."
